Ownership = rights over something:
- posses (use, let others use, keep other from using)
- enjoy (don’t have to deal with others)
- control (change it to your liking)
- dispose (pass it to someone else)
Two types of property: real and personal
- real = not movable (ie. land)
- personal = movable
Real Property
- land
- anything permanently attached to it
- anything that comes with it
- immovable by law
